St. Bernadette Elementary School will be participating in the Great Saber Quest Walkathon. We are raising money for air conditioning installation.
Our goal is to raise $25,000. Temperatures in our main building classrooms can get very warm, as high as 87 degrees earlier in the school year. Children (and teachers) cannot function at their best in those kinds of temperatures. Air conditioning is a tool for sifting out allergens and bacteria, which keeps children healthier. Healthier children learn better. People who are in a comfortable environment are less irritable, and more focused. Help us meet our goal, as we really need to be able to cool our classrooms.
